Indian feathers & riding horses bareback .. .

.. . i think i can!!! :)

today is seeing the setting sun float directly over the crest of an eminent mountain, the countryside beshrouded* in golden air {*i know its not a word but i think it could be}

~ & a little prayer for the "ghosttown" that has become Christchurch[New Zealand] .. .
Deliverance,
Hasten to my side!

p.s ever since i saw this collection by Romina Bacci {via Pia's wondrous blog} i have been utterly enchanted about the idea of photographing emotions! i saw this & felt like she had captured me on film, not my appearance or aesthetic or the cheerfulness i like to depict in my photos, or the delicate fragrance of a blossoming bud, but my inner essence, most remarakbly! & so since then i have thought those are the kind of photos that i would be too terrified to take, it is such a risk!!! your innermost heart & emotive reckoning, but i suppose this post, is the one of my own in which i have been able to capture what is most me {not that magnolias, feathers & horses are my favourite things, but that i do admire their magnificent stature & beauty & grace - & the tones of the photos too :) } its the combination of thought/pattern/tone/subject to create an emotion & warmth of spirit, to reflect things/values/attributes/meanings i hold dear

  1. beshrouded could be a word! haha... lovely as always :) Thanks for the prayer... Something spectacular will come from this tragedy. Thats what makes New Zealand so special... not one person killed in all that damage... amazing!! Blessed country alright!
