International Day of Felt ~ Part II

When i heard about this event i had great aspirations of needle felting butterflies to put in flowerbeds, & wet felting hearts to hang from trees,

but for the past couple of months i've been unwell & so every extra creation has been agonizing..

Finally i settled on the gorgeous bear & a yellow-breasted crimson swallow{with an orange tail}

i took these photos in my garden before i went to release it

because i wasnted sure if i could get a good shot where it finally appeared in the day's festivities

flying on the breeze as it overlooked the river

in our lovely city!
Today is soft, fuzzy felt & warm, summery colours!
