If I were a planet, I’d belong to the moon.
If I were a sea animal, I’d be a seahorse.
If I were a direction, I’d be Northwest.
If I were a piece of furniture, I’d be a bookshelf or a vase.

If I were a liquid, I’d be raindrops or tears.
If I were a gemstone, I’d be crystal or rose quartz.
If I were a tree, I’d be an old one{maybe a cherry blossom or jacaranda}.
If I were a tool, I’d be pliers.
If I were a flower, I’d be a pink one :) {roses, camelia, amaryllis, azalea...as long as its pink...}
If I were a kind of weather, I'd be sunshine.
If I were a musical instrument, I’d be a jazz trumpet.

If I were a color, I’d be softest pink.
If I were an emotion, I’d be pensive.
If I were a fruit, I’d be in a fruitsalad{maybe a mandarin?}.
If I were a sound, I’d be the ocean breeze.
If I were an element, I’d be earth.
If I were a car, I’d probably be one of these

If I were a material, I’d be lace or wool.
If I were a scent, I’d be the fragrance of flowers.

to decipher a vernacular most exciting, waves as they tumble, sand as it gleams, salt in the air & tiny shells, in all their unusual shapes, how have they formed & become so beautiful? such a delicious melody, like that of floral oppulence!

to sail to the stars

this post is dedicated to a brave young girl who is sailing around the world, harnessing the wind & treading stars. her courage afloat & natures discoveries in her pink sails, every day she comes closer to the dream of being the youngest to sail solo around the world.

...every two weeks or so since Jessica Watson set sail, my Mum would ask, has anyone heard if she's alright? & finally a couple of weeks ago, Mum thought we should google it just to check, because we hadnt heard for awhile.
& now we are so happily following along these wonderfully inspirational vignettes of her narrative...oh we do wish her very splendid luck in her journey so beautifully becoming achieved!!!{& special thoughts to her from my little sister who is painting her a sunset!!} special & precious thoughts today
